About Alma

I believe we all have a life theme. Something which keeps comming back to us, in one form or another, for us to learn and grow. My life theme has to do with Unconditional Love. Let me tell you my story:

Ever since I was a child, I’ve often felt like I was different and didn’t really belong. From being a sensitive girl, growing up in a harsh neighbourhood in Denmark to being a messy “bohemian” Mom in a little village in The Netherlands, Life continuously challenges me to embrace myself and express who I really am.

In my younger years I had a fear of turning crazy, like my father who suffered from bipolar disorder. So, I tried hard to do “normal”, but never really suceeded. Instead I stayed true to my free spirit and walked my own ways, guided by my intuition and driven by an urge to explore the outer and the inner worlds.

My journey has taken me far; from ashrams in India to Anthropology at the University. From the magical Camino de Santiago to Motherhood. I’ve studied in a range of schools- and learned some hard lessons in the school of Life too. One of them is, that happiness isn’t about becomming perfect- it’s about becomming whole.  And so, day by day, I’m making peace with my shadows and stepping into my light. I would be honoured to help you do the same.

But let me be really honest with you. If you’re looking for someone to help you create the perfect life, I’m not the one for you. As the mother of an 8-year-old daughter with a complex kind of Autism and a 2-year-old son with an unknown handicap, my life is neither easy nor perfect. But both my children are great teachers of Unconditional Love! And despite of all the struggles, I love Life every single day!
